Mr. Peter J. Green, of PJG Consultants, is proud to be among the first Approved Instructors of Mental Health First Aid Training for Wales. Pete is also appointed as member of the first Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) National Training Team for Wales, training individuals to become instructors of MHFA and deliver the 12 hour MHFA course.Pete established PJG Consultants in 2001 and has since provided numerous training and development courses for the private, public and voluntary sectors. Pete has also worked as a counsellor, hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. Pete is frequently invited to guest lecture at many different Universities across Wales. After competing a BSc in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Pete became a Graduate Member of The British Psychological Society and The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Due to a passion for mental health issues, Pete has continued continued to enjoy further learning about different approaches in mental health and counselling. He has attended a two year advanced counselling psychotherapy course and then went on to study Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In March 2008 Pete was awarded The Trainers Award for Exceptional Trainer of the Year by the Caring for Learning in Partnership Project. He has also had his work published in Better Business Magazine and developed modular training programs in specialized areas for different organizations.
